LEAVING FOOTPRINTS

As the daffodil meets the warmth of spring 

And looks anew at everything,

Dreams and wishes blossom into art 

When awakened and nurtured with soul and heart.

And so this garden blooms with words

Of both solemnity and mirth.

A gardener has thoughtfully tended here,

Leaving footprints in the earth.
